FRESA is the first plant that generates electricity from forestry biomass in Corrientes province, and the largest of Argentina.
It is located in Gobernador Virasoro, where there is a biomass availability of more than one million tons. It currently produces 40 MW of clean energy, representing 10% of the energy consumption of the entire province. With its contribution, it diversifies the electrical grid, promotes the development and sustainability of the forestry industry, and creates direct and direct employment.
